We partner with Avionics Installation Shops across North America, to help them Design, CNC, Powder Coat and Laser Engrave their Clients' newly refurbished or upgraded Avionics Panels. EAPanels is looking for a qualified Lead CNC Machinist, a craftsman capable of turning metal components into a work of art, at their Newbury Park shop. Workflow in this small business is fast-paced, therefore experience working quickly without sacrificing quality is key. Candidate should have experience running shop operations, managing priority workloads, using meticulous attention to detail, and communicating with Clients along the process. Excellent memory, communication, and ability to multitask will be part of your workflow. The primary duties of the operator will be to build standard and complex instrument panels, components and assemblies, using HAAS VF3, Patriot with Fagor Control, Fusion 360, HSMWorks, and Solidworks/ Solidcam. They will use standard aircraft hardware and assembly practices, provided by design drawings and/ or the original provided part, to make sure components are built accurately. Candidate needs to have a basic understanding of operating shop machinery & software, and will also gain the responsibility of powder coating and operating a CNC Laser Engraver. Candidate will follow and/ or create new processes, SOPs, and systems, for training personnel. Basic Qualifications (Required): Machining experience: operate a CNC Router with industrial Fagor control iMachining/ Adaptive Machining experience SolidCAM or CNC Related Experience Experience managing shop operations for priority workloads Ability to handle multiple projects/ jobs simultaneously Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): CSWA - Certified SolidWorks Associate CNC Laser experience using Corel Draw X4 TurboCAD, Vectric Cut 2D, and knowledge of basic G-Code Powder coat experience Avionics or other Aviation experience or interests Aircraft Maintenance Technician, A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Certificate, Sheet Metal proven experience building various components A&P IA Certification Training Required: SolidCAM SolidWorks Certified CSWE CNC Operation Application Instructions: In addition to resume, please email list of relevant experience in a cover letter.
