Purpose DAVACO is currently looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist with a strong knowledge of all HR functions to assist the HR Manager in compliance, policy writing, performance management, training and development, and career pathing. This position is a critical, highly-visible role working with the HR team of DAVACO. Essential Functions Manage and prepares the EEO-1 report and audit data for accuracy Monitor the part-time employees hours worked for ACA compliance Assist with leave policies and have an understanding of how leave benefits coordinate Manage ADA, support animals policies Create forms and standard operating procedures as requested Solid knowledge in HR standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations and government laws. Assist with the development of the AAP policy, procedures, and compliance Assist with performance management, training and development, career pathing Assist with the development of salary ranges Develop new hire orientation and on-boarding processes Handle general employee questions pertaining to company policies, procedures, and benefit programs Assist with employee relations issues Assist with researching and writing of paid sick leave policies Assist with special projects Job Attributes and Skills Ability to be self-directed Ability to multi task and maintain confidentiality Ability to organize and prioritize work Ethical practice Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills Communicate clearly, professionally and proactively (both written and verbal) with teammates to ensure timely completion of duties Strong interpersonal skills essential Motivated/Pro-active mindset Requirements Three to five years of progressive Human Resources experience - Generalist Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field Must have excellent computer skills and a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
