Candidates must demonstrate knowledge in:Summary/Objective Increase Company profitability by actively seeking and developing new business relationships, contacts and opportunities to meet Company Sales goals while maintaining and expanding service offerings to current clients. Execute sales strategy, identify customer needs, and devise innovative solutions to those needs. The focus will be Transportation Sales to include but not limited to: Domestic and International Freight Forwarding, Truckload Brokerage, LTL and Small parcel.Develop New Business - Identify potential customers, make cold calls and engage in other prospecting efforts, create and present effective marketing materials. Create and maintain price quoting documentation, contract information, and ROI data. Use sales tracking and development software (CRM) to track progress within the sales cycle and manage client contacts.- 75%Develop Current Customer Base - Maintain current customer base through open communication and a commitment to service.
