Founded in 1978, We are an OTR company that exclusively handles out and back freight. This means, all of our customers originate in Louisville, Ky., and deliver at the customers desired destination. All drivers are reloaded with product coming back to, or around Louisville, Ky. Air Freight, Printed material, Food and Beverage, are the bulk of our business. Haz Mat freight is handled, but not forced on any driver not wanting to pull it.

You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Responsibilities: Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck Properly track and document activity log Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Inspect truck before and after the trip Qualifications: Previous experience in truck driving 6 months verifiable experience Commercial driver's license Ability to handle physical workload Strong work ethic

Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Trucking school diploma Valid truck driving license Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials overland to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Take your pick of possible loads and areas out.
