Team Rubicon is seeking aHeadof Strategic Partnerships, a director-level position,to help the organization maximize shared value with corporate and foundation partners, expand co-marketing and co-branding opportunities,steward employee engagement opportunities andengage as a thought leader at industryandveteranfocused events. This person will beresponsible for helpingthe Development Departmentexpand current revenue streams while relentlessly pursuing new opportunities for growth. The position will report to the VP of Developmentand willcollaboratewith the full executive team.
The right candidate will bring an extensive background in business development, traditional nonprofit fundraising and/or strategy. S/he will be equally comfortableengagingcorporate associates on the ground in a disaster zone as s/he would be pitching a proposal to a Fortune 500 CEO. Demonstrated ability to engage and leverage multiple stakeholders in pursuit of objectives is nonnegotiable.
This role provides the right candidate broad exposure to every facet of one of the fastest growingnonprofits in America and the ability to leveragetheir skillsin the pursuit of clear, ambitious revenue targets.

Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
Build and maintain trusting, value-generating relationships with Team Rubicon'sselectcorporate and foundation partners
Research and identify impactfulnewstrategic opportunities (fundraising and branding) and work to drive partnership toward execution
Develop annual partnership plansfor accounts in pipelinethat focus on stewarding and growing program investments, cause-related marketing, employee engagement, gift-in-kind and new funding models (ie., impact investing)
Methodically expand Team Rubicon's partnership reach through the careful cultivation of partner networks
Partner with programs team todevelop a deep understanding of TR programs and future endeavors to facilitate strategic discussions with partners around shared value
Work closely withmeasurement and evaluation teamto tighten feedback loops that connect partners with innovative and insightful data points
Report back to the business on key learnings and insights gleaned from discussions with partners and targets; represent thepoint of viewof partners in internal discussions("What are our customerssaying, doing,thinking about?")
Assist Marketing team in creating customized decks with storytelling, concept notes and shared value proposals to position TR as a crucial value-added partner
Represent Team Rubicon at industry events, conferences,conveningsand other engagements
Travel regularlyto meet with partners to provide updates and explore further collaborationopportunities (ie., media and employee engagement)
With the Manager of Special Events/Stewardship, assist in the development and management of events that further partnership initiatives
Provide timely and accurate reportingofall donor contacts, reporting and/or other deadlines and strategic initiatives into Salesforce
In coordination withlegal team, manage the development, execution and oversight of partnership agreements
5or more years of experience in business development, strategic partnership or account management
Bachelors degree required; Masters Degree preferred; school of hard knocks will be considered
Ideal candidate has experience in the military and/or humanitarian and disaster operations
Strong people skills and a demonstrated team player
Effective communicator that has played a role in increasing the visibility of an organization at forums, conferences and with senior-level corporate decision makers
Extensive travel up to 40% is required
