Founded in 1914 by brothers Goodloe and Earle Yancey, we have exclusively represented Caterpillar products in the state of Georgia since 1918, making Yancey Bros. Co. Nation Oldest Caterpillar Dealer. Our Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Division sells, rents, services, and supports products such as bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and backhoes. Our Power Systems Division sells, services, and supports Cat marine engines, power generation equipment, and industrial engines product lines. The Cat Rental Store opened in 1997 and continues to provide Caterpillar full line of construction and building equipment to customers, as well as sales and rentals of a large variety of non-Caterpillar equipment, ranging from dump trucks to aerial lifts.

In 2005, Yancey Power Systems established Yancey Engineered Solutions to provide specialized services to customers purchasing power units from Caterpillar Griffin, GA Engine manufacturing facility. This division serves customers around the globe as a supplier of sound-attenuated packaging, testing and design solutions, and engineering services for most makes and models of power generation units. In 2007, Blue Bird Bus Corporation announced Yancey as their exclusive dealer for school bus sales, parts, and factory-supported service for Georgia and Alabama. Yancey Bus Sales and Service provides an extensive line of parts and aftermarket services for school buses of all makes and models, including Carrier air conditioning for school buses.

Yancey Bros. Co. is recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative (ISRs) who will be responsible for managing a defined customer account list. ISRs will provide solutions to customers for new and used equipment, in addition to providing parts and service sales solutions. They will also be involved in the lead follow-up process for incoming sales leads, all while working in a team environment. The ISR role will teach the foundational skills for sales while participating in the Yancey Bros. Co. sales training program. Essential Functions: Make a minimum of 25 customer calls per day and follow up with incoming customer leads. Contact customers on a defined account list to deliver sales, parts, and service solutions to the customer per established guidelines. Expected results include incremental sales, parts, and service revenues in addition to improved participation on deals and market share. Daily collaboration with other Yancey Bros. Co. Sales Reps (CCE Specialists, PSSRs, and General Line Reps) to develop and deliver solutions for customers. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred. Significant experience in the heavy equipment industry will also be acceptable. Long-term interest in future sales opportunities with Yancey Bros. Co. is preferred. Demonstrated success in prior work experience. For experienced professionals, previous work history in sales, parts, or rental sales is preferred. Ability to use judgment and creativity in applying solutions to customer requirements. High energy and strong work ethic required. Ability to effectively communicate sales, parts, and service solutions over telephone and through technology.
