The Director of B2B Product & Partnership Marketing is responsible for product and partnership marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and generate leads. In this position, you'll work cross-functionally with sales and product to develop a compelling product position and B2B marketing roadmap, direct the development of branded marketing materials, develop co-marketing partnerships, execute rollout plans and regularly monitor and report on results. Through proactive stakeholder management, you will serve as a true business partner to sales.
What you'll be doing:
Define DriversPost marketing strategies/plans to drive sales enablement
Direct marketing plans for Enterprise brand and product areas in conjunction with brand, product and sales leaders, ensuring that tactical plans reflect strategic objectives.
Align resources to drive sales efforts from adjacent marketing functions (Analytics, Research, Brand, Content, Public Relations); engage key internal stakeholders (executives, functional leaders) to gain required approvals
Research and test new partnership strategies to grow our reach across multiple channels.
Test and optimize messages and offers across all channels (email, direct mail, mobile, online, digital, social, events, inside sales and field sales, etc)
Grow mobile app downloads via relationship marketing - focusing on the leading platforms (AppStore, Google Play, Amazon)
Collaborate with our content and creative teams to deliver content (whitepapers, one sheets, videos, strategic communications, etc) and other marketing assets
Grow brand awareness via partnerships with organizations and companies across all channels(blog, email, SSM, direct mail) and via partnerships with leading platforms (Apple AppStore, Google Play, Amazon etc)
Routinely relay, and help instill excitement in, new product feature enhancement and benefits to sales.
Create and deliver client journey and win stories, case studies and profiles for sales consumption and use
Test and optimize messages and offers across all channels (email, direct mail, mobile, online, digital, social, events, partnership, inside sales and field sales, etc)
Work with enterprise sales leaders to develop the master marketing plan for activities throughout the year; ensure alignment of sales enablement activities with key internal and external events, such as key product releases and essential industry tradeshows
Maintain a sharp understanding of industry trends, customer needs, competitive offerings and marketplace dynamics.
Project and report on results.
What we're looking for:
10+ years of experience in marketing/advertising, preferably B2B and/or Enterprise marketing
Proven experience in monitoring and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI using Salesforce.com and other reporting tools
Experience with a wide range of marketing tactics partnership, affinity, mobile, email (specifically crm and account-based campaigns) plus classic collateral, print, web, webinars, pitch decks, content, CRM/direct mail, online, etc.
Exceptional organization, planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines
Sales training experience a plus
Partnership marketing experience a plus
Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
Extensive experience leveraging full range of marketing capabilities to drive top line growth to include brand positioning/development, creative development process, research/insights, customer segmentation, pricing/discounting and channel management
Exceptional creative skills, both in inspiring a creative team, and even writing your own copy.
Experience with B2B marketing for company with a portfolio of products / services, and continuous product enhancement and rollout schedule.
Exceptional organizational skills, executive presence, leadership capabilities and attention to detail
Solid analytical skill set
Deep expertise in building relationships with leaders across organizational / departmental boundaries
A track record of success in a change management environment.
