Job Overview

Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative identifies, develops, and maintains relationships within his or her assigned territory to generate profitable, sustainable, and collectible business.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements a segment-specific sales strategy
  • Works with Sales Management and Inside Sales department to establish pricing guidelines for customers
  • Coordinates orders with sales departments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
  • Coordinates the resolution of customer complaintes regarding damaged/incorrect material and deliver/inventory problems
  • Assesses the profit potential of all existing and prospective accounts to eliminate unprofitable business
  • Effectively uses CRM to regularly update account plans and objectives as appropriate to the profit and sales potential of each customer
  • Responds to periodic requests for information from management and corporate functions
  • Encourages all customers to deepen their business relationships with OFR through parallel setting and cost saving initiatives
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Bachelors or better.



3-5 years: Applicable outside sales experience


Education and experience may be substituted with equivalent experience
