This is an overnight /early morning delivery driving position working 5 days a week driving a pickup truck pulling a 20’ to 30’ aluminum cargo trailer. Driving hours will vary, but usually begin around 10:30pm. Shift times could be delayed due to weather conditions, traffic, etc. CDL is NOT required.
Safely operate a truck pulling a 20’ to 30’ trailer.
Safely transport product to designated delivery points per customer cut times.
Properly process all delivery paperwork and scan all freight.
Complete truck inspections, Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR), and communicate any issues.
Complete all logs and DVIR’s according to DOT and company standards.
Immediate communication with management team of any deviation which would prevent on-time delivery
Ability to safely load and unload product by hand and pallet jack including pallets, totes, cores and cages weighing up to 1000 lbs.
Assure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, standards and guidelines.
Drive additional routes on occasion to fill in for other drivers.
Be able to work up to a 12 hour shift.
Possess a safe, clean driving record
Adaptability to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions)
Keep vehicles and trailers clean and in good working order
Complete and maintain a DOT physical/medical card. (CDL Not Required)
1-3 years of delivery experience preferred.
Age 23 or older.
