Cherry Hill Imports (Porsche Audi and VW) is looking for an Experienced Lot Attendant!

MAINTAIN THE APPEARANCE OF THE LOT AND SHOWROOM: Ensure that the lot and showroom are at professional standards. Walk the lot to ensure every pre-owned vehicle has an AS-IS sticker and verify all “front line” pre-owned vehicles have a pre-owned packet in the glove box (if needed). Inspect and replace as necessary all stock tags and Monroney labels (MSRP’s). Verify Certified pre-owned vehicles have certified plates and Packets in place. Keep new and pre-owned lot neat and orderly.

MAINTAIN APPEARANCE OF STOCK VEHICLES: All vehicles SHOULD BE WASHED. Mechanical problems, e.g., dead batteries, and body damage should be reported to a Sales/Service Manager immediately.

PREPARE VEHICLES FOR DELIVERY: Wash and quality check vehicles for drive-ability, damage and cleanliness prior to delivery.

HELP ASSURE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: Work toward avoiding comebacks at all times by doing work correctly the first time. Work done properly helps ensure customer satisfaction and future business with the customer. Give all comebacks #1 priority! Do not smoke in cars, change or play radios.

MAINTAIN A SAFE, CLEAN & PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT: Drive vehicles in a safe manner. Wear a seat belt at all times when driving. Observe the 5 MPH speed limit on dealership property. Monitor and clear lot of all debris (leaves, trash, towels, etc.) Report hazards such as holes in the grass, asphalt, etc., to management immediately. Obtain permission of manager prior to driving any company vehicle off the premises. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

COMMUNICATE WITH DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL: Communicate with Service Consultants, when a job is started, finished, or interrupted. Advise Service Manager/Director of problem areas when they arise. Notify Parts Department when supplies are needed.

PERFORM OTHER TASKS AS DIRECTED: The company reserves the right to revise the functions and duties of the job or to require that additional or different tasks be performed when circumstances so warrant (e.g., emergencies, changes in personnel, work load, and rushes).


  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Prior automotive experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional with a strong work ethic
  • Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
