Job Overview

The purpose of the Safety Compliance Clerk is to monitor and ensure timely completion of DOT and Company compliance items and support all Landair Divisions in the process of obtaining these completions.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions
  • Ensure all DOT files are completed and filed appropriately
  • Ensure all newly hired drivers are keyed into databases timely and accurately
  • Ensure all DOT & company compliance items are received timely and updated accurately (lic, phy, HM tests, etc)
  • Monitor MVRs for physical renewals and for recruiting
  • Manage Weekly Compliance Report
  • Run reports for orientation
  • Audit driver timecards
  • Complete log audits
  • Complete driver annual reviews
Accountability/ Measurements
  • All driver files completed in order for DOT files within 5 business days of class graduation
  • All drivers entered into databases weekly and audited for accuracy weekly
  • Physicals, Licenses, COV's, Haz Mat retrains, DDC goal 100%
