Loc Performance Products; Michigan's premiere full service manufacturer of large CNC machined components and assemblies for military and commercial applications.

Loc Performance is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated driver to join our Production department!

DUTIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.

Drives truck to destination.

Prepares receipts for load picked up.

Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.

Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.

Loads and unloads truck.

Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

Prepares the loads for shipment to OVS operations.

Help out on the shipping dock by driving Hi-lo to put away received material. Also bands product for shipment.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
