As the Inventory Control Manager you will analyzes inventory levels and product demand to determine safety stock levels which ensure product availability and minimizes inventory costs.
Inventory Control Key Responsibilities
Oversees the receiving, storage and warehousing of materials, actively involved in cycle counts, adjustments to order quantities and max/min safety stock levels in conjunction with the supervisor and production needs.
Maximizes layout and utilization of warehouse space, considers inventory turnover, size, weight and related factors of items stored.
Support plant cost reduction teams, analyze data in ERP and generate reports on inventory. Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequate stock levels. Studies, records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Team working with management team.
A highly motivated and competent individual able to converse with all levels both internally and externally.
A total self-starter able to set the standard by their own professionalism and attitude.
Must be energetic, self-motivated and self-organized. Willing to do whatever is required to get the job done.
