Material handling objects such as totes, boxes, garments and other items constantly, items could weigh from 10-50lbs (sometimes up to 60lbs)
Candidates need to be ready to LIFT
Very safety conscious though, so 50lbs+ is not allowed to lift alone no matter your strength
Could be lifting items over head
Objects are being handled from trucks, totes, conveyors, pallet trucks, etc.
Operating manual pallet jacks and trolleys (will NOT be on forklift_
Order selecting and counting items such as totes, boxes, merchandise and other items
Match receipts to purchase orders
Pack or unpack boxes and seal and label boxes for shipping
Remove or sort merchandise
Could be moving couch, love seat, mirror, or small object
Building pallets by hand to send to a store. For example - greenwood store need these 6 items on a pallet. build it, label it, prepare to be moved to shipping
Pay & Hours: 1st- 7am-3:15pm (paid til 3:30pm) $12/hr 2nd- 3:45pm-12am (paid til 12:15am) $12/hr + $1.50 shift diff. 3rd- not available 4th- 12:25am-6:40am (paid til 6:55am) $12/hr +$2.00 shift diff.
2 mandatory Saturday per month but not allowed to mandate any other OT. they will know by Thursday at the latest if they are doing mandatory weekend
OT is paid DAILY after 8 hours, so you don't have to work 40 to get OT. TONS of voluntary OT is going to be offered, so people can make $$$!!
kick in 30-90 days after converted to full time employee (not days after contract with Aerotek)
