+ The Avionics Technician III performs inspection, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, removals and replacements of complex aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems using various hand tools and test equipment to meet manufacturer's specifications, FAR's, industry standards, and Repair Station General Operating Manual (RSGOM) in a safe and organized work area

+ Performs as Qualified Inspector (QI); completes accurate and timely documentation; and communicates and interacts with customers regarding aircraft schedule, status and technical issues

**Essential Job Functions**

+ Troubleshoots, repairs, tests, removes and replaces complex avionics and instrument wiring and systems installed in various airframes using hand tools, test equipment, technical documents, and technical reference materials

+ Orders necessary parts to complete the job. Inspects components and aircraft systems as a QI


+ 5+ years of avionics, electronics, airframe maintenance or related experience required

+ A&P License (preferred)

**Compensation** :

+ up to $45 an hour (depending on relevant and recent experience)
