Western Truck Exchange is an authorized dealer for Navistar International and Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks.

Our service department offers repair and maintenance for all makes of medium and heavy duty trucks, diesel engines, and transmissions. We have fully trained technicians and the most up-to-date tools and equipment. We are fully certified for CAT and Cummins repairs, and are qualified for Allison maintenance and rebuild services.

In addition to selling new medium duty trucks, WTE also sells used medium and heavy duty trucks, parts, and truck bodies.

What You Will Do:

  • Meet and greet customers.
  • Answer phone calls for the Sales Department.
  • Identify potential customers and make minimum weekly calls as established in our sales meetings.
  • Attend and participate in morning sales meetings.
  • Take clients around the lots to show them various trucks.
  • Use CRM software to maintain a customer database and to follow up with sales leads via phone, email, online chat, and with marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and then present sales proposals to customers.
  • Develop relationships with key customers and provide high level of customer satisfaction by assisting these customers in purchasing the ideal medium duty truck needed to do their specific job.
  • Communicate with customers when needed to facilitate each transaction.
  • Monitor the progress of each sales order to keep all salespeople, customers, other staff informed.
  • Data entry into the CDK accounting system.
  • Occasionally assist the Marketing Manager with various tasks.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish fluently;
  • One (1) year of sales experience, ideally with selling used or new medium duty commercial trucks. (Preferred)
  • Must be a "people pleaser";
  • Must be well organized;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Must be good with numbers;
  • Strong verbal and written/documentation skills;
  • Must have a valid driver's license;
  • Experience behind the wheel and possessing a commercial driver's license a plus;
  • Attention to detail;
  • A Dependable, Responsible team player with a positive attitude.

  • Background Check: Employment offers will be dependent upon a successful background investigation which may include past employment, education, and criminal history;
  • A Drug Screening is required.
  • Expect the whole process to wrap-up within 30 days of the first interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
