A2 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join the team reporting to the Associate Director Supply Chain and Logistics. In this role you will maintain an ongoing focus on service, inventory, and supply chain efficiencies when developing, implementing, and overseeing the execution of finished goods planning, Process Intermediate, scheduling and deployment to enable the Business Unit to achieve its specific goals and objectives. You will also performs duties to ensure the efficient flow of products throughout the supply chain to meet promised delivery dates. Accurate planning of capacity, production, and inventory management to fulfill demand is critical to the success and goals of the A2 organization.
In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the team as a technical expert and mentor to improve overall performance, vendor management, continuous improvement projects, and/or quality management maintenance and updates, as assigned.

Partner with clinical operations, manufacturing, logistics and procurement to effectively align supply with the demand plan.
Develop the monthly planning cycle to monitor, maintain and control inventory for BOM and non-BOM materials.
Act as the key point of contact for all Supply Chain production planning and deployment activities associated with the site.
Work to identify recommendations and/or decisions needed from the business unit to close relevant gaps.
Establish and implement deployment strategies to align with forecast variability, inventory constraints, supply limitations, and priority markets.
Identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end efficiency of the supply chain relative to stability, cost, service, and quality.
Be responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.
Proactively contribute to continuous improvement by identifying issues with day-to-day processes and resolving and/or communicating the issues to management in a timely manner.
Work closely with Buyers to assure reliability, quality, and continuity of supply and service. Collaborate with the internal team to execute category or procurement strategies and execute preferred supplier list.
Identify, build, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, partnerships, and alliances with select suppliers through Supplier Relationship Development process/programs.
Collaborate with the appropriate A2 functional teams to assist in the resolution of issues such as: work order or contract expiration, purchasing agreements, requisitions, invoice holds, open pos, losses, returns, cancellations, and discontinuations.
Ensure suppliers' service agreements meet the quality and service standards.
Able to implement/plan for changes while both maintaining supply continuity and reducing scrap or eliminating discard.
This role requires the ability to be on-call for after hours, weekends and shutdowns to support manufacturing needs.
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in biopharmaceuticals or biotech sector or relevant experience OR Associate degree with 9+ years in the biopharmaceuticals or biotech sector or relevant experience
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of customer service.
Experience working with ERP systems (systems implementation a plus). Agility to handle the complexity of personalized cell therapy supply chain.
Strong organizational and analytic skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ability to work well under pressure with effective time management and organizational skills; flexibility to adapt and balance multiple priorities.
Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency and meeting tight deadlines.
Team player who looks for win-win situations in management of external vendors. Able to work independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work.
Ability to work comfortably with Google collaboration platform as well as Word, PowerPoint and advanced level of Excel preferred.
