The Paramount Technology department supports our company through the delivery of a high-quality viewing experience, system infrastructure support, and crafting innovative ways for our employees to collaborate. Responsibilities

  • Working with predominantly application teams and various infrastructure SMEs (compute, storage, database, cloud, network, security, monitoring, operations teams) to build cohesive, re-usable, and compliant solutions.
  • Identify and handle technical interdependencies across the infrastructure stack.
  • Drive the creation of a well-balanced solution that optimizes technology, financials, and operations, both within a project, but also across the portfolio.
  • Build and/or aid in the making of dependable solution documentation.
  • Identify and chip in to governance strategies and implementation
  • Reduce or abstract infrastructure complexities from customers.
  • Improve process cohesion between various infrastructure disciplines, and at times, applications.
  • Drive solution automation and productization of complex integrations.
  • Build and maintain an excellent and efficient customer experience across the infrastructure service portfolio.
  • Predictable order-to-delivery process.
  • Construct product catalog

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and talents:

  • Requirements.
  • Design.
  • UAT.
  • Implementation.
  • Customer Service Oriented - solid grasp of differences between service delivery vs. technology delivery.
  • Proficient Communication Skills - communicate with all partners, such as the application team, developers, management, clients, and vendors; you must have the ability to convey technical language to other collaborators in non-technical terms.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (including cloud services, cloud automation, cloud governance, cloud security, etc.) and applications. Expertise specifically around the integration of these disciplines, such that design elements like scalability, resiliency, performance, cost, operation efficiency, security, and compliance are in unison across the solution stack for both the project and the portfolio.

Additional Qualifications

  • Technical pre and/or post sales experience.
  • Help the PMO create well thought-out project plans factoring in technical interdependencies.
  • Help projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Broad knowledge of computer software, hardware, and computer languages.
  • Process oriented.
  • M&E industry experience.
  • Strong analytic skills and critical thinking.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.
