Logistics Pricing Management (EM6203)

Position Summary:

The position will analyze sales data, pricing charts and syndicated data to establish sourcing strategies, evaluate the sourcing event results, and report to the corporate office. The ideal candidate will review the current issues and deduce the optimal solutions by communicating the stakeholders and deliver effective outcomes to the management and the customers to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities:

Establish each project's goals (KPI's) and objectives in quantitative and qualitative ways.

Perform regular sourcing projects' result evaluations to determine areas of improvement.

Create reports and perform post-pricing analytics to identify profit/loss results

Ensure all sourcing/pricing activities adhere to corporate guidelines and policies.

Organize and coordinate sourcing/pricing operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity.

Analyze the customer or sales team's requirements to prepare for the sourcing events like hiring trucking carriers, warehousing service providers, freight forwarders, and etc.

Communicate with Korea's corporate procurement team to align strategy and execution

Create a solution to customer's problems with root-cause analysis and utilizing logistics partners.

Discover and contact vendors that can provide service required.

Deliver advanced level of pricing analytics by analyzing sales, pricing, and syndicated data

Track, monitor, and evaluate the impact of pricing actions implemented by report review.

Review price compilation charts and metrics to ensure new cost saving opportunities to implement.

Proactively gather market data for new product pricing

Review logistics partner proposals and evaluate to fit the business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Fluent English and Korean required

7+ years working experience in the business management and planning in total 10+ years of logistics related industry

Proactive demeanor and strong attention to detail

Strong analytical skills with high competence in data handling with accuracy

Ability to relate to and build relationships with people at all levels of an organization (Sales, Operations, Finance, and customers)

Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office applications PowerPoint, Word, Excel

Effective written and verbal communications skills to communicate with various levels of the organization, vendors and suppliers to negotiate

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

Master's Degree related to SCM or MBA preferred
