Position Snapshot

Our team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team. This person will primarily support the Hillsboro location. This position works under limited supervision and manages the Work Orders for the production floor. They work closely with the Customer facing team to align production to customer needs.

Task & Responsibilities:

Create and Plan Jobs for Production while reviewing supply and demand in MRP

Assist in development of virtual job packet creation for future state

Maintain constant communication with our Scheduling team to maximize our output of production

Communicate with scheduling on any changes to active jobs

Work with Purchasing and Customer Service to plan and track job expedites

Identify capacity constraints and manage schedule adjustments

Setup of Material part numbers and routers where needed

Review and align production schedule to include forecast requirements

Work with the team on RMA processing where necessary

Assist in dispositioning Scrap on jobs

Create Rework jobs when required

Assist with ECN processing and documentation

Communicate with leaders and peers about problems and possible solutions


Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment and using MRP/ERP

Prefer Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain and Logistics, or similar field

Experience working from bills of materials to make schedule decisions

Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills

Good attention to detail, reading, writing, computer, and arithmetic skills

Strong mechanical, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple priorities appropriately

Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Kanban, and Just-in-time manufacturing

Hours : 7am to 4pm
