Package Handler is responsible for clerical and administrative duties in the shipping department. The Package Handler will handle all documentation for shipments and ensure accurate billing for all items shipped out. Primary Responsibilities - Complete all bill of lading for outbound shipments and update system with correct information to allow for carrier payment - Balance loader documentation with shipping order. - Alert utility personnel of discrepancies if they arise - Manifest shipping orders, billing and inventory control. - Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with carriers and contacts both internal and external - Resolve paperwork discrepancies with utility people as needed. Job Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping and/or receiving is preferred. - Computer experience – Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Power Point) or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides). - Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.
