Drive DOT-regulated vehicles to transport materials to and from specified destinations, including customer well sites and other locations. Responsibilities and Duties A CDL driver must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation: Load and unload trucks for delivery to locations specified by customers, and complete deliveries in a safe and timely manner. Ensure that loads are secured according to state and federal regulations. Prepare receipts for load picked up and/or issue receipts for goods delivered. Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations. Maintain telephone or radio contact with Dispatch Manager or other supervisor to receive or confirm delivery instructions. Operate forklift and other heavy equipment as necessary. Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water, and maintain vehicle in clean and safe working order. Pass the Schlumberger Driver Training Course. Perform other duties as required. In addition, a qualified applicant will have: Must currently live in Midland/Odessa area. Current and valid Class A CDL driver’s license. Clean driving record. 21 years of age or older. At least one year of experience. Able to lift 75 pounds unassisted. Basic knowledge of oil and gas industry. Familiar with area, ability to read maps and understand directions to company locations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
