This is an advanced level position. The Warehouse Associate II is a key leader of a larger warehouse team whose purpose is to receive and process incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies needed to manufacture Endologix products. Additionally, the team is responsible for the outbound shipment of finished goods to distribution sites, customers, and hospitals worldwide. The majority of duties of the Warehouse Associate II require detailed knowledge and precise execution of the key processes related to receiving, shipping, inventory, and reworking of product for global distribution. The Warehouse Associate II steps into the Warehouse Lead role when required.
Thoroughly understands and able to perform all warehouse functions and responsibilities including cold chain operations and reverse logistics.
Oversees warehouse functions to ensure team is performing tasks in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.
Advanced/super user of QAD/ERP/WMS systems, and strong understanding of system to train other team members
Organize support for Warehouse Leader for inventory cycle counts and quarterly/annual inventory requirements
Leads daily/weekly morning planning sessions and assign tasks to team members
Contact carriers to arrange warehouse pickup times and provide estimated delivery date/time of shipment to interested parties
Provides mentorship to warehouse associates and mid-level warehouse professionals
Identifies and pursues process improvements for warehouse operations to enhance support to business
Develops working relationships with Planning, Customer Service, and Sales teams integral to the success of warehouse operations
Performs inspection of field-returned product, records returns and inputs status into QAD
Performs material rework procedures to comply with country-specific labeling requirements and maintains record of rework
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
High School diploma or equivalent, completion of advanced education, supply chain certification a plus
4-6 years progressive experience in distribution center, warehouse, stockroom, or similar environment required, preferably in medical device industry
Strong knowledge of inventory management
Strong knowledge of common carrier shipping methods including applicable software
International shipping is mandatory, cold chain handling experience a plus
