We are seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager with demonstrated experience and knowledge of regulated or compliance-driven industries. Jama has had 10 years of proven success working with the best product innovators in the world. We have all the key ingredients in place – amazing customers, product and team – and you'll be charged with articulating the value of Jama and delivering that message to the market. RESPONSIBILITIES: You are a program owner and have the drive and go-to-market skills to project manage cross-functional teams and initiatives through execution and launch.
You have experience in industries where systems engineering and product development is a focus and you'll use that to run go to market programs: personas, positioning, market intelligence, pricing, product strategy, and launch deliverables.
You are technically fluent to stay active and credible with our product team and also business savvy to present the business case and speak the language of our clients.
You understand the market problem Jama is solving; you can identify market opportunities and position us in the market.
You are comfortable supporting highly complex software products, in highly complex environments, working with Engineers in industries such as medical, automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, industrial technology, financial services and healthcare. You have a desire to deepen your knowledge of these verticals.
Craft & develop compelling audience-specific messages and collateral (product videos, webinars, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, etc.) and enable sales to successfully position value-based messaging.
REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree in business, technology, marketing, or relevant field of study
5-8+ years professional experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, management consulting, or product management
3+ years of Product Marketing experience in high growth technology (software or hardware) partnering closely with product management, engineering, marketing communications and sales.
Demonstrated capacity to distill complex, large-scale concepts into clear, simple and elegant messages.
You take a proactive approach to your work and consistently frame value from the customer's perspective.
Strong analytical skills to turn a hypothesis into action by following the research and data to support the initiative.
